Student Accomplishments

SVS 6th grader, Karen Laska will compete in the SCRIPPS National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC on Sunday May 25th.

SVS 8th Grader Collin Gaus, won a Golden HOrshoe Award for knowledge of WV HIstory.  He will receive an award in a special ceremony at the WV state Capitol on May 10th.

 

 
Principal News...

Congratulations to Dane Cuchta who recently received the Sisters of St. Joseph award. This award is given annually to a student who exemplifies the faith & caring virtues of St. Joseph. Dane has donated the monitory award he received to Mr. Weiskircher.



Later in April, Sarah Beiter will receive the Aquinas Medal, during the Bishop's Cross dinner celebration. Sarah was chosen by her teachers for her academic success and her generous spirit of service at school, in the community and in the parish. Congratulations Sarah!
